Sponsor: The Province of Prince Edward Island and the PEI Harness Racing Industry Association (PEIHRIA)
Eligibility:For 2 and 3-year-old pacing fillies and 2 and 3-year-old trotters (foals of 2017, 2018 and 2019) that are 100% owned by PEI residents, and are registered in that ownership with Standardbred Canada or the United States Trotting Association. If leased, both lessor and lessee must be residents of PEI. To remain eligible to either event, the entry must continue to meet the ownership requirement for the three year duration of the series;

and/or
For 2 and 3-year-old pacing fillies and 2 and 3-year-old trotters (foals of 2017, 2018 and 2019) whose certificate of registration indicates place of foaling to be Prince Edward Island and whose dam was owned at the time of foaling by a resident of PEI (RESIDENT: A resident of PEI is a person whose primary residence is on PEI or one who operates a farm resident to standardbred broodmares, such residency verifiable by such tangible evidence as Property Tax payment, employees, mares on sire etc.):

and/or

For 2 and 3-year-old pacing fillies and 2 and 3-year-old trotters (foals of 2017, 2018 and 2019) whose certificate of registration indicates place of foaling to be Prince Edward Island and whose dam resided on PEI for at least 183 days in the foaling year (residency requirement to be verified by signed affidavit) submitted to PEIHRIA before December 1 of the foaling year.

(RESIDENT: A resident of PEI is a person whose primary residence is on PEI or one who operates a farm resident to standardbred broodmares, such residency verifiable by such tangible evidence as Property Tax payment, employees, mares on sire etc.);

and/or

For 2 and 3-year-old colts whose certificate of registration indicates place of foaling to be Prince Edward Island and whose dam resided on PEI for at least 183 days in the foaling year (residency requirement to be verified by signed affidavit submitted to PEIHRA before December 1 of the foaling year).
